It cannot be denied that Jan Hugo Verhaert (De Panne, 1927 - Antwerp 2011) had a great sense of humor. He made these artistic dioramas for every province in Belgium. In 1964, he also founded the publishing house "De Galge". He provided the typography and cover designs, but he has also published books under the pseudonym Galgenius.
