Hello dearest visitor,
I would like to briefly introduce myself.
I am Goedele Aerts, proud mother of Marie and Stan, and founder of Adesso Antiques.
After seven years as a lawyer, I decided to change course. No matter how certain my career path seemed, it gave me little real satisfaction. In the meantime, I noticed that my heart started beating faster for something completely different: searching for unique finds at flea markets. What started as a nice hobby grew into a real passion.
The thrill of searching, the thrill of finding that one beautiful and rare piece – that is something that keeps nagging. Addictive, even. That is why I decided to turn my passion into my profession. I trained as an antique dealer and started with pop-up shops: three in Ghent, two in Bruges.
Since November 2022, I have given my dream a permanent place in the center of Bruges, in my own shop at Hoogstraat 27.
There I carefully put together a collection of pieces with character, charm and a story. You are always welcome to come and have a look - in the store or here online.
